Submission Guidelines

ManTech Publications – Paper Submission Guidelines

At ManTech Publications, we receive submissions from hundreds of authors across the country. However, we only publish papers that meet the following criteria:

  • Originality and Novelty: The paper must present new, original research that contributes to the advancement of its respective field.
  • Exclusive Submission: The paper must not have been published elsewhere, be under consideration for publication in any journal or book, or be available in any library or for purchase.

We also welcome articles derived from theses prepared for higher degrees. To be published, these articles must follow the format of ManTech-specified research journals. Authors must ensure that the condensed version of their thesis is suitable for publication. Additionally, we accept articles previously presented at conferences, provided they have not been published in nearly the same form in the conference’s proceedings.

Types of Contributions

Mantech Publications welcomes a diverse range of contributions, focusing on advancing research and providing valuable insights in various scientific fields. We are interested in the following types of articles:

1. Research Articles These articles should present original research findings that have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration for publication in any other venue. Research articles should generally not exceed 5000 words, and an abstract of less than 250 words is preferred.

2. Review Articles Review articles offer a comprehensive overview of developments in a specific research area. While these are usually commissioned, high-quality unsolicited reviews are also welcomed. These articles should be well-organized and avoid a general ‘textbook’ style. The length should not exceed 6000 words, with an abstract of less than 250 words and up to 100 references.

3. Popular Articles To engage a broader audience and support public and student awareness, Mantech Publications accepts popular articles that aim to communicate scientific findings in an accessible manner. These articles should be limited to 5000 words, with an abstract of less than 250 words.

4. Editorials Editorials provide commentary on current issues or trends and are generally contributed by members of the editorial team. However, unsolicited editorials on relevant topics are also considered. These submissions should not exceed 1500 words and will be reviewed and edited by the editorial team.

Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous review process. Initially, manuscripts are pre-screened to ensure they meet the journal’s guidelines. If they pass this stage, they are sent for detailed review by experts in the field. If there is a lack of consensus, a third expert may be consulted to make the final decision.

Proofs

Authors will receive the final camera-ready version of their manuscript for proofing. No changes to the content are allowed at this stage. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their work.

Author Access and Benefits

Authors have free access to their published articles and can download them as needed. At the end of the year, hard copies of the journal can be purchased at a nominal price. Benefits also include professional copyediting, a publication certificate, and prompt support and guidance from our team.

Guidelines for Authors

Dos:

  • Use professional language appropriate for scientific and technical publications.
  • Avoid using the journal for marketing or publicity.
  • Ensure data accuracy and avoid falsification.

  • Authorship should reflect significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or analysis of the research. All contributors should be listed as co-authors, while those who made minor contributions should be acknowledged.
  • Ensure that the order of authors is agreed upon by all contributors and accurately reflects their contributions.
