Journal of Remote Sensing, Environmental Science & Geotechnical Engineering The Journal of Remote Sensing, GIS & Geotechnical Engineering is a peer reviewed journal that presents papers on the interdisciplinary fields of Geotechnical Engineering, GIS (Geographic Information System) and Remote Sensing. We publish papers on the core subjects of these disciplines as well as those on applied interrelated topics. While GIS and Geotechnical engineering uses various tools to develop a quantitative understanding of Earth systems, remote sensing is needed for such understanding as it is needed for detection and classification of objects on Earth.
